There has been an issue with SNAP (Food Stamps) in our community that has left many families without their budgeted food allowance until May. They will not be reimbursed for the lost balances. We have had a surge in requests for emergency food and now we know why. One example that was just brought to our attention today is a Mom (that we have directly worked with) who just had her two toddlers returned full time to her care. We are so proud of the hard work she has done and the challenges she has overcome. Losing her SNAP benefits 4 days after her children moved home was not expected and we would like to help. We are not listing separate food items for logistics sake but instead here are few ideas. We would also like to request Walmart gift cards. We are unable to store much quantity of meat, cheese, eggs and frozen items for lack of space. Cereal Oatmeal Granola Bars Infant/Toddler mixed fruit and veggie pouches Yogurt pouches Peanut Butter Jelly Flour Tortillas (These don't expire foe a long time!) Mac n Cheese Canned Meat Snacks Canned Fruit Crackers Canned corn, tomatoes, potatoes etc... Canned meals: Ravioli, Spaghettios etc... Juice boxes And whatever else your family likes that would be shelf stable!

I am working with a family who has emigrated from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The family has three-month old twin babies and is in need of more clothing for them, ideally items that they can continue to grow into over the coming months. Our agency has limited infant items, which is why I am turning to Needbridge for donations. As the family's caseworker, I am happy to travel to pick up items, if that is preferable. Thank you!

Family needs an engine replaced in their 2015 Kia Sedona, or a new van. We are looking for someone(s) to help with this need so the family can attend the many various dr. appointments, for the children, for which they travel a long distance. Family has priced engines from $2000 (used) -$5000 (new). Plus, looking at cost of labor.

There is a 19-year-old aging out of the system when he graduates high school in June. He hasn't been able to get his driver's license yet and needs a bike for transportation to his job. He would like a HARO Leucadia BMX bike, preferably. He paid for one when he was still living at home and his family lost it, so it's been really upsetting him. He has come a long well and is doing amazing in an independent living program! He would greatly appreciate your help in getting the bike he wants and needs!

Together, this family has fostered 22 children. They currently have 5 children under the age of three in car seats. Due to unforeseen life circumstances, they are in need of help. Their current vehicle is no longer road worthy. They are able to be approved for financing a new vehicle, but the trade-in value of their current car is upside down. They have most of the down payment they need, and can afford the monthly car loan payments, but need $2500 to offset the trade in before the dealership can approve them for financing. Hello! I am working with a single mother and her children who are facing eviction/homelessness. My client is requesting assistance in paying for her water bill and fees totaling $649.04. She will be receiving section 8 and social security benefits so she will be able to make future payments but does not have the funding to pay this amount. We have attempted to contact other organizations as well, but none are able to assist at this time. Any help is immensely appreciated!
