We are currently working with a father who has recently returned to the community after incarceration and is actively working toward reunification with his three sons. He is participating in the services and requirements asked of him by the court while also working to secure stable housing and employment. One of his biggest barriers at this time is reliable transportation. Having access to a dependable vehicle would greatly assist him with attending parenting classes, therapy and other required appointments, pursuing and maintaining employment, and participating more consistently in his sons’ activities and daily lives. We understand that a vehicle is a significant request and cannot be guaranteed, but we wanted to share this need in the event that an individual, church, organization, or community member may have a reliable vehicle available for donation or another resource that could help meet this transportation need. Reliable transportation would be a meaningful step toward helping this father continue building stability for himself and his children.

This family is in need of a 3 in 1 car seat for their 3 year old son. One that is lightweight so that when they are taking the car seat in and out of vehicles it is easier for her to manage. A 3 in 1 with the harness straps for current use, then turns into a high back booster, then eventually can become a backless booster seat.
