Child Care Assistance Needed

High
Overdue

Just one week ago, a child came into kinship care with little notice. A family stepped up immediately and opened their home so this child would not have to enter foster care with strangers. They did not hesitate. They said yes because they wanted this child to stay with people they know and trust. Like many kinship families, this placement happened fast. The caregivers are doing everything they can to keep life stable while continuing to work and provide for their household. In order to do that, the child needs full time daycare. The cost is $400/ per week. Right now, this expense is more than the family can manage on their own during this sudden transition. This family is asking for any level of support to help cover daycare costs so they can continue working and keep this child safely in their care. Even a small contribution can make a real difference. Your support helps keep a child in a loving family setting during a very uncertain time. Thank you for helping this family show this child they are not alone.

Foster Parent Appreciation Event

Medium
Overdue

Our foster care program is hosting an event at Lake Tobias during May as a Foster Parent Appreciation event. We are looking for donations of picnic items to supply to our families during the event. This could include items like individually packed snack items (chips, gummies, etc), water bottles, juice boxes, paper plates, or utensils. We are also open to gift cards/financial assistance to purchase items.
