The Blue House is located in Scranton. It is a 3-bedroom facility and is owned and operated by the county Office of Youth and Family Services. The first floor is used for scheduled, court ordered, family visitations while children are in foster care. The second-floor bedrooms are used for children who have come into care, but a placement has not been found yet. Caseworkers staff the building around the clock for these purposes. The agency is grateful for volunteers to help with several projects to complete the recent renovation work on the house. When responding, please tell us the project you are interested in working on and the dates, after Aug 9th, that you would be available. We will coordinate the details with you. Please feel free to email me directly for more information. carlene@keyfam.org
