Category Intelligence Reporting

Overview

The Category Intelligence Reporting feature provides detailed insights into how different need categories perform across your organization. This helps you understand which types of needs are most common, which get completed fastest, and where you might need to focus your efforts.

Accessing Category Intelligence Reports

  1. Navigate to Admin Dashboard
  2. Click on Reports in the left sidebar
  3. Select Categories from the reports menu
  4. Choose Category Intelligence from the report types

Key Metrics

Category Performance Overview

  • Total Needs: Number of needs created in each category
  • Completion Rate: Percentage of needs that were successfully completed
  • Average Response Time: How quickly volunteers typically claim needs in each category
  • Active Volunteers: Number of volunteers who have claimed needs in each category

Category Trends

  • Monthly Growth: How category usage has changed over time
  • Seasonal Patterns: Which categories are more popular during different times of year

Understanding the Data

High-Performing Categories

Categories with high completion rates and fast response times indicate:
