API Keys

What this is for

Connect NeedBridge to other tools (like Zapier or custom scripts) without sharing your personal login.

Create a key

  1. Go to Admin → Settings → API Keys
  2. Click Create Key and give it a clear name (e.g., “Zapier – Volunteers”)
  3. Copy the key — you’ll only see it once

Manage keys

  • Delete a key to immediately remove access
  • See when a key was created and last used

Best practices

  • Create one key per integration
  • Name keys clearly so you know what they’re used for
  • Delete keys you no longer need

Troubleshooting

  • Can’t see this page? Ask an admin to check your role
  • Key not working? Confirm you copied it correctly and the tool is using it in the right place
