Tax Receipts FAQ

This FAQ covers questions about finding, downloading, and resending tax receipts for donors and volunteers.

Where do I find or download tax receipts?

Go to Admin > Tax receipts (or the tax receipts section under Billing, depending on your plan). There you can view and download receipts. Use the date range and filters to find the one you need.

Who gets a tax receipt?

It depends on your organization's setup. Often receipts are available for completed donations or for certain types of volunteer activity, when your plan supports it. Check with your admin or the Tax receipts page to see what's available for your organization.

How do I resend a receipt to someone?

In Admin > Tax receipts, find the receipt and use the option to resend (e.g. by email). Confirm the recipient's email is correct before sending. If resend isn't available, you can download the receipt and send it to them yourself.

I don't see the Tax receipts page. Why?

Tax receipts are only available on plans that include them, and only to users with the right permissions. If you expect to see it, check with your admin that your plan includes tax receipts and that your role has access.
