Embedding and Widgets FAQ

This FAQ covers questions about embedding NeedBridge volunteer signup forms and needs browsers on your own website.

Can I put the volunteer signup form on our website?

Yes. You can embed the volunteer signup form on your site so people can sign up without leaving your page. Go to Admin > Settings > Embed (or the embed section in settings) to get the link or code. Add it to your website using the instructions there (iframe or script).

Where do I get the embed link or code?

Go to Admin > Settings > Embed. You'll see options for volunteer signup and needs browser, with a link or snippet you can copy into your website. Use your organization's public URL (e.g. your NeedBridge subdomain) in the embed so it points to your org.

The embed isn't showing or looks wrong. What do I do?

Check that the URL or script uses your organization's correct slug and that your site allows iframes or the embed script. Try the embed on a simple test page first. If it still doesn't work, contact support with your site URL and how you embedded it.
