I Can HelpCar Repair Assistance for Low-Income Family
Family needs a replacement transmission and a motor so that their car is safe for them and the baby. The family relies on the car to get both parents to work and to DoorDash for extra money beyond work. The family found a mechanic with used parts who they said would be willing to sell them for about $400 plus tax.
Who This Helps
Family of 3 with infant, father's grandfather passed away and the family is urgent to get to his grandmother's in order to help her support herself. However, in order to be safe for the drive, the car needs a new transmission and motor. Dad has mechanic experience and is able to replace the parts himself, but the family cannot afford to buy the parts.
