New Flooring Installation

This family is composed of mother, her 6 children (ages ranging from 1 month to 10 years old) and maternal grandmother (diagnosed with mental health conditions). One of the fathers is involved in a very limited manner, while the other is currently imprisoned. Mother has very limited income and struggles with needs such as transportation. One of the kiddos has a severe skin condition. Per the child’s PCP, the child recently had a full outbreak, which included bleeding as he scratched too hard. Per the child’s PCP, he needs to be seen by allergy and immunologist specialists, which is currently being procured. From several visits to the home, it has been noted that the environmental conditions may be playing a role in his condition. The child is usually very active and especially during the summer, he spends a lot of time shirtless and laying on the floor. Most of the family’s apartment floor has rug, and most of it is currently due for replacement. Most of the rug is sticky and dirty, and this clearly constitutes an aggravating factor for the aforementioned child’s and his older brother’s condition, who is also diagnosed with eczema (although his is relatively more controlled). Replacing the flooring will also be beneficial for the youngest in the family, as this will ensure a safe and hygienic environment for tummy time and play. **MATERIALS WILL ALSO BE NEEDED**
