Child Care Assistance Needed

Just one week ago, a child came into kinship care with little notice. A family stepped up immediately and opened their home so this child would not have to enter foster care with strangers. They did not hesitate. They said yes because they wanted this child to stay with people they know and trust. Like many kinship families, this placement happened fast. The caregivers are doing everything they can to keep life stable while continuing to work and provide for their household. In order to do that, the child needs full time daycare. The cost is $400/ per week. Right now, this expense is more than the family can manage on their own during this sudden transition.
